DIABETIC

Our Diabetic Clinic takes place monthly and is currently undertaken by a specialist Diabetic Nurse, Breege McGee. Referral to the Nurse is through your GP who will place you in the next available Clinic. The Clinic provides an opportunity for the patient to review their current level of Diabetic control, review medications, discuss diet and avail of the latest equipment to monitor sugar levels. Blood tests are taken prior to the Clinic and results are reviewed by the Nurse. If further referral for more detailed evaulation by a Specialist is required then this will also be arranged.
